The Midwestern Friendlies and Meets are an initiative to build strong community and networks across writers in graduate creative writing programs in the Midwest. Editor-in-chief Ching-In Chen, poetry reader Franklin KR Cline and fiction reader Michael Larson will be reading for cream city review/University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at the 1st Midwestern Friendlies’ Meet, hosted by Indiana University on October 4th! Come say hello if you’re in the Bloomington, Indiana area!  We will be hosting readers from Northern Michigan University’s writing program on November 7th for a Friendlies’ exchange and on March 7th, 2015, we will be hosting readers from other Midwestern creative writing programs for our own meet .
