KAREN AN-HWEI LEE is the author of Phyla of Joy (Tupelo 2012), Ardor (Tupelo 2008) and In Medias Res (Sarabande 2004), winner of the Norma Farber First Book Award. Lee is also the author of two chapbooks, God’s One Hundred Promises (Swan Scythe 2002) and What the Sea Earns for a Living (Quaci Press 2014). Her book of literary criticism, Anglophone Literatures in the Asian Diaspora: Literary Transnationalism and Translingual Migrations (Cambria, 2013), was selected for the Cambria Sinophone World Series. She holds an M.F.A. from Brown University and Ph.D. in English from the University of California, Berkeley. The recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Grant, she serves as Full Professor of English and Chair at a liberal arts college in greater Los Angeles, where she is also a novice harpist.

KATHARINE HAAKE is the author of two eco-fabulist works, The Time of Quarantine, a novel and The Origin of Stars, stories. Her other works include a hybrid novel, That Water, Those Rocks, and two prior collections of stories, The Height and Depth of Everything, an LA Times Bestseller, and No Reason on Earth, a New York Times Notable selection. Her writing has long appeared in such magazines as One Story, Crazyhorse, The Iowa Review, and Witness. Haake is a recipient of an Individual Artist’s Grant from the City of Los Angeles; she teaches at California State University, Northridge.

GORDON HENRY is an enrolled member of the White Earth Chippewa Tribe of Minnesota. Since 2006 he has worked as Senior Editor of the American Indian Studies Series at Michigan State University Press. His most recent publication is titled Stories Through Theory/Theory Through Story. Professor Henry has participated in the Nibaagwe Shimowin Ceremony.

ROGER REEVES was awarded a 2014-2015 Hodder Fellowship from Princeton University, a 2014 Pushcart Prize, a 2013 National Endowment for the Arts Literature Fellowship and 2008 Ruth Lilly Fellowship, Roger Reeves’ poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Best American Poetry, Poetry, Ploughshares, American Poetry Review, Boston Review, Tin House, and 2014 Pushcart Prize. King Me, his first book of poems, was published by Copper Canyon Press in 2013. King Me has been awarded the 2014 Larry Levis Reading Prize by the creative writing program at Virginia Commonwealth University and the John C. Zacharis First Book Award from Ploughshares. He is an assistant professor of poetry at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
